The agenda includes sessions on Basic Science and Pathogenesis, Clinical Features and Diagnosis, Myositis Serological Subtypes, Associated Co-morbidities & Prognosis, Cancer Screening Guidelines, and Current Treatment Evidence.

Speakers contributing to the event include:

  1. Dr. Puja Mehta: A Rheumatology SpR Clinical Research Fellow in Respiratory Medicine at University College London.
  2. Professor Rohit Aggarwal: Professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and medical director of the Arthritis and Autoimmunity Center at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Professor Aggarwal is also the co-director of UPMC Myositis Center, bringing extensive expertise in myositis research and clinical practice.
  3. Dr. Alexander Oldroyd: An NIHR Clinical Lecturer at the University of Manchester, Dr. Oldroyd holds multiple degrees including MBChB, PhD, MRCP, and MSc. His research interests encompass myositis and related autoimmune conditions.
