We are looking to engage MSK commissioners in a Delphi study to identify key research priorities for corticosteroid injections for osteoarthritis. Participation involves completing 3 online questionnaires over a 6-8 month period, each taking approximately 20 minutes. In the first questionnaire participants will be asked to generate ideas for future research, these will be collated and then ranked by importance in the subsequent questionnaires to develop a research priority list. We are recruiting patients, clinicians, academics and MSK commissioners to ensure that the voices of all key stakeholders are included in shaping the future research agenda for osteoarthritis care and treatment.
We would like to invite you to take part in a research project that is asking experts with relevant experience to help with developing the key questions for future research about intra-articular corticosteroid injections for osteoarthritis. Your views will be important to help us design future research to help people with ongoing pain from osteoarthritis.
You can read the participant information leaflet which contains more information about the study HERE
The study has been commissioned by the National Institute for Health Research Health Technology Assessment panel. Please take time to read the attached information booklet. It explains why we are running the study and what taking part in the study will involve. If you are interested in taking part, then please click here to complete the online questionnaire and consent form
If you would like to discuss the study or if you have any questions about the study, please contact Vikki at v.wylde@bristol.ac.uk
