This compelling webinar is being given by Zoe Paskins. Zoe is an Honorary Consultant Rheumatologist at the Haywood Rheumatology Centre in Stoke-on-Trent, UK, Clinical Lead for the North Staffordshire Osteoporosis Service and a Senior Lecturer at the Primary Care Centre Versus Arthritis at Keele University. She leads the Keele Osteoporosis Research Group and holds a NIHR Clinician Scientist Award to develop a decision support tool in osteoporosis. She chairs the Midlands Bone Interest Group, is a member of the UK National Osteoporosis Guideline Group & the International Patient Decision Aids Standards Collaboration, committee member for Versus Arthritis and Vice Chair of the Royal Osteoporosis Society Bone Academy Effectiveness working group.
This webinar will be divided into two sessions: the first on assessment, and the second on management and therapeutic challenges. Zoe will cover who to assess for osteoporosis and how, and use case examples to illustrate therapeutic challenges about selection and monitoring of treatment, including indications to refer to secondary care.
