Invitation to the launch of Bone and Joint Week 12 October 12:30pm, with a panel discussion
We’re delighted to invite you to the launch of Bone and Joint Week with an event ‘What can help MSK health nationally, regionally and locally, now more than ever?’ including a panel discussion with: Sue Brown, Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Alliance (ARMA) CEO, Andrew Bennett, NCD MSK Conditions NHSE/I, Liz Lingard, Transformation Lead (North East & Yorkshire), NHSE/I [focussing at event on regional inequalities], Sarah Morton, Head of Therapies, Professional Head of Physiotherapy, Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust and Dr Jane Taylor, lived experience of MSK, chair/member of a number of charity committees for people with MSK conditions.
When: Lunchtime Tuesday 12 October at 12:30- 1:45pm
What: After more than a year of uncertainly, stress, inactivity, weight gain and changed routines, many struggle with their musculoskeletal health. As we rebuild our activity across society, the NHS, public health and local communities, what are the keys to unlocking better musculoskeletal health, even in the wake of COVID-19? We know that good musculoskeletal health means better wellbeing for individuals, work, communities and reduces disability, but what key things can help this vision become a reality? Join us for this fast-moving discussion of key points and people’s experience of what can help musculoskeletal health nationally, regionally and locally. Input directly to the discussions and panel session. Take part in an engaging and collaborative event with sector peers from across multiple organisations and regions.
