Hi Ian
I work in MSK clinics and within a GP practice. I too am following the BSR/BOA advice, and in fact only stopped injecting for a very short period of time for those patients who couldn’t be managed any other way.
I have always felt that my usual policy was to inject only when other methods of management had been exhausted, so in a sense Covid made little difference to that general principal. The difference now is that the risk of immunosuppression and the unknown but potential risks of worsening Covid infection is added to the consent process, so that patients can make an informed decision whether to go ahead.
