This informative and compelling webinar will be given by our very own Krystian Dawiec on the commonplace issue of ankle and foot problems.
The talk will include teaching about a comprehensive ankle and foot pain history taking using especially designed joint pain history taking tool. In addition to this a detailed physical examination will also be discussed. Lastly, over 20 ankle and foot conditions including traumatic, non-traumatic issues will be discussed. The importance of red flags will be highlighted throughout the presentation.
Krystian Dawiec is an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Primary Care and Primary Care Network MSK Lead. He achieved MSc in Physiotherapy and MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice. In the past he has worked as First Contact Practitioner (FCP) and Consultant MSK Physiotherapist. He was awarded Saunders’ Prize and Kesson’s Prize in 2015 for his achievements as MSK Practitioner. He has 12 years of clinical experience and was one of pioneers developing FCP role in England. Initially he started working as MSK Physiotherapist and thanks to Advanced Clinical Practice Framework he transitioned to work across Primary Care Medicine specialty alongside of General Practitioners. He established and manages MSK FCP service in Wolverhampton. He is a visiting lecturer at University of Wolverhampton. He helped to establish first primary care student placement for physiotherapy students and currently acts as Primary Care Student Placement Educator and FCP Clinical Trainer.
