The Essentials of Ultrasound-Guided MSK Injections course is a comprehensive, hands-on training programme designed to equip clinicians with the fundamental knowledge and practical skills required to perform common ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal injections safely and confidently in clinical practice.
This beginner-friendly course focuses exclusively on ultrasound-guided injection techniques, with particular emphasis on the most commonly performed procedures involving the shoulder, hand, wrist, knee, ankle and foot.
Delegates will learn the fundamentals of musculoskeletal ultrasound, including probe handling, image optimisation, needle visualisation (“how to shoot”), and safe injection techniques through expert-led lectures, live demonstrations, and extensive supervised hands-on practice.
A key feature of the course is the opportunity to practise on dedicated injection simulators and phantoms before progressing to supervised scanning and injection techniques, helping delegates build confidence in a safe and supportive learning environment.
By the end of the course, participants will have developed the core practical skills needed to begin incorporating ultrasound-guided MSK injections into their clinical practice.
