We are delighted to have the Audit’s Clinical Director, Dr Jo Ledingham, opening our 2022 series of webinars with this extremely interesting talk about the background of the national early inflammatory arthritis audit (NEIAA), justifying the need for and the potential benefits of it, clarify what it is looking at and why, offer insights into latest performance and on how data can be used for QI activity.
Latest figures released from the National Early Inflammatory Arthritis Audit reveal significant improvements in referral and treatment times.
The audit, with Year 2 data published last week, is the largest and most comprehensive arthritis study. It aims to improve patient care and treatment and has collected data from over 13,500 patients, with 96% of trusts in England and Wales participating.
Jo is the Clinical Director for the NEIAA, and has a longstanding interest in audit and quality improvement. She is also a Consultant Rheumatologist of 25 years at Portsmouth NHS.
