Dr Ahmed Mostafa’s objective is that by the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Understand how point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) can support diagnosis in common MSK and rheumatology conditions.
  2. Appreciate how ultrasound acts as the “stethoscope” of the MSK clinician to guide diagnosis and management.
  3. Recognise key ultrasound features of:
    • Giant Cell Arteritis (GCA).
    • Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR).
    • Inflammatory arthritis and its DD.
    • Common lumps and bumps.
