The 2020 PCRMM conference will be bringing together FCPs and GPs and other health care professionals who have an interest in musculoskeletal disorders.
We are planning an FCP stream with an introduction from Amanda Hensman-Crook who is an FCP working with the CSP and HEE to develop the FCP career pathway and this role in Primary Care. It will be interesting to hear about the latest developments.
The FCP stream will then continue with workshops on requesting and interpreting blood tests and imaging and diagnosing inflammatory arthritis.
The emphasis will be on shared learning in a supportive and non-critical environment.
For GPs we will be offering our usual mixture of lectures and workshops on Spondyloarthritis, new developments in Rheumatoid, Ehlers Danlos syndrome from the RCGP clinical champion Emma Reinhold and a lecture on polymyalgia rheumatica. Lectures and workshops will be run by specialists and Primary Care doctors in equal measure.
Due to COVID, we are exploring having a virtual conference if we cannot meet together in York.
